As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing tests that prove the functional and non-functional requirements. You will need to contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle to identify and mitigate system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities :
Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements and provide meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify and create document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for recent and existing features to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Contribute debugging process results
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Helping BA's with right set of data for analysis
Qualifications :-
Should be a Bachelors in Technology with 2+ years of qualified experience
Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Knowledge of DBMS and SQL Queries is a must
Able to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Understanding of both white box and black box testing
Understanding in an Agile/Scrum development process
Positive to Have
Knowledge of automated testing tools
Basic grasp of performance and/or security testing is a plus
Fundamental working knowledge of Javascript and/or Python is a major plus
