We are building a humanoid robot from the ground up and are looking for an enthusiastic engineer to join us during the early hardware development stage. This is a highly hands-on role. You will work on the physical development of the robot inclduing motors, actuators, joints, mechanical structures, electronics and prototyping.
We’re open to fresh graduates, final-year students and self-taught builders with robust practical skills.
What You’ll Work On
Selecting motors and actuators for humanoid joints
BLDC motors and integrated robotic actuators
Designing and building hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow joints
Motor torque and load calculations
Encoders and joint-angle feedback
CAN bus / motor communication
Motor drivers and controllers
Bearings, shafts, gearboxes and mechanical linkages
Lightweight aluminium/mechanical structures
Gas springs and counterbalance mechanisms
Battery and power distribution
Wiring,
connectors and electrical protection
CAD and mechanical prototyping
3D printing / CNC / fabrication
Building and testing complete robotic limbs
Hardware safety and emergency-stop systems
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of industry experience.
We’re particularly interested in people who enjoy actually building things.
Knowledge or hands-on experience in any of these areas is practical:
Robotics • Mechatronics • BLDC Motors • Servo Motors • Encoders • CAN Bus • Arduino • ESP32 • STM32 • Motor Control • CAD • SolidWorks • Fusion 360 • 3D Printing • CNC • Electronics
Experience building things such as robots, robotic arms, drones, RC vehicles, exoskeletons, college robotics projects or custom electromechanical systems is a big plus.
