About the Role :

The Functional Engineer supports business applications within the formulation management domain, ensuring they effectively enable R&D; processes and are ready for manufacturing.

The role focuses on understanding business needs, translating them into functional solutions, and supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support their implementation.
- Support testing activities, coordinate business validation, and ensure proper release of changes.
- Support incident resolution by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating fixes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure solutions are reliable and scalable.

Skills Required :

- PLM tools (e.g.,



Infor Optiva, ASD ProductVision).
- Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Azure DevOps, APIs.
- SQL or data analysis concepts.
- Delivery or ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in business management, computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Experience working with enterprise applications (e.g., PLM, product data).
- Experience documenting functional requirements, user stories, and test scenarios.
- Familiarity with modeling techniques (BPMN, UML, ERD) is a plus.
- Experience in R&D;, manufacturing, or regulated environments is a plus.
