ABOUT US

Khageshvara Aviation builds unmanned eVTOL and VTOL aircraft in India, for defence, logistics, disaster response, and eventually regional air mobility.

We don't assemble reference drones. We design our own airframes, cut our own parts, fly them, break some of them, and go back to the bench with the data.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This internship is for someone who wants to be on the shop floor and the flight line, not behind a desk running one simulation for a month. You will sit close to the people making decisions on the aircraft and pick up work across aerodynamics, structures, mechanisms, and vehicle integration.

Expect it to be messy in the way real hardware is messy. A part that looked fine in CAD won't fit. A model won't match what the aircraft actually did in the air. Working out why is the job.

We are not looking for someone who already knows all of this. We are looking for someone who wants to, and who will put in the hours to get there.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO

- CAD work on airframe parts, brackets, mounts, and mechanisms, with drawings the workshop can build from
- Set up and run FEA and CFD cases, then check what the model predicted against bench and flight data
- Track weight and balance, CG, and structural margins as the aircraft changes week to week
- Build things. Composite layups, fasteners, wiring routes, fit checks, jigs
- Support ground runs and flight tests: setup, data logging, post-flight teardown, and notes someone else can actually use six months later
- Chase problems across propulsion, electronics,



and manufacturing until the aircraft flies

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Immediate Joining or recently finished Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or something close
- Real grounding in aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and basic structures. You should be comfortable being asked why a disc loading number matters and answering from first principles
- Working ability in at least one CAD tool: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Siemens NX. Which one matters less than how well you use it
- Some exposure to ANSYS, Fluent, Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM, Nastran, or similar. Coursework and self-taught projects both count
- Some idea of how VTOL configurations differ from each other, lift+cruise against tilt-rotor against multirotor, and why anyone picks one over another
- Willing to work on-site in Jaipur, on hardware, including long days around test windows

STRONG PLUS

You have built something and flown it. A college UAV, a racing quad you tuned yourself, an RC fixed-wing you designed instead of bought, a composite part you laid up, a tilt mechanism that worked. Or one that failed and you know exactly why.

WHAT YOU GET A stipend, and work that ends up on an aircraft rather than in a slide deck. You get to see the whole vehicle instead of one subsystem, and you get direct access to the senior engineering team and the founder while decisions are being made.
