URGENT | IMMEDIATE APPOINTMENT | LITIGATION — AHMEDABAD

ADVOCATE / LITIGATION STRATEGY & CASE MANAGEMENT — IMMEDIATE JOINING

I am urgently looking to appoint a highly capable, hands-on Advocate in Ahmedabad to take charge of the day-to-day management and coordination of a portfolio of high-stakes, ongoing litigation matters.

This is an immediate requirement.

I am looking for someone who can join immediately or within a very short notice period and work closely with me and the existing senior legal team.

THIS IS NOT A ROUTINE JUNIOR ADVOCATE POSITION.

The appointed person will effectively function as the central litigation coordinator and bridge between the client, senior counsel, briefing counsel and the courts.

The individual must be capable of understanding the entire factual and legal architecture of a case, identifying gaps, preparing senior counsel, following proceedings personally and ensuring that no legal, procedural or strategic issue is missed.

THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE

▪️ Regular appearances and follow-up before the Gujarat High Court and Ahmedabad District/Trial Court s

▪️ Working directly with senior advocates and existing couns el

▪️ Preparing comprehensive briefs, chronologies, case notes, hearing notes and litigation strateg ies

▪️ Assisting in drafting and vetting petitions, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, applications and written submiss ions

▪️ Detailed legal research and identification of relevant judgments and statutory provi sions

▪️ Analysing pleadings, documentary evidence, orders, correspondence, financial records and other case ma terial

▪️ Connecting facts and developments across multiple connected proc eedings

▪️ Preparing senior counsel for every hearing with a precise understanding of the facts, documents and legal position

▪️ Personally tracking every hearing, order,



filing, deadline and next l egal step

▪️ Coordinating with multiple advocates and legal professionals so that the overall litigation strategy remai ns unified

▪️ Identifying urgent issues and bringing them to the client’s and senior counsel’s attention immediately

▪️ Maintaining a central, organised litigation record so that the entire case can be understood quickly at any stage THE PERSON I AM

LOOKING FOR

This role requires someone with litigation instincts, not merely a law degree.

Yo ushould be

- An enrolled Advocate with active litigatio nexperience
- Ideally 3–8 years i nto practice
- Experienced before the Gujarat High Court and lower courts
- Exceptionally strong in drafting and le gal research
- Comfortable handling large volumes of documents and complicated fac tual records
- Fluent in English and Gujarati
- Comfortable independently reading and analysing Gujara ti documents
- Extremely organised and dea dline-driven
- Comfortable dealing directly with a demanding client and seni or advocates
- Able to work under pressure and ta ke ownership
- Discreet, ethical and absolutely trustworthy

Experience in civil and criminal litigation, commercial disputes, property matters, banking/financial disputes, DRT, SARFAESI, revenue matters, insolvency or related proceedings will be high ly valuable.

I am not looking for someone who simply attends hearings and r eports back.





I need someone who will own the litigat ion process.

Someone wh owill know

What h as happened.What i s happening.What can happen next.What needs to be filed.What evide nce matters.What the opposing side is l ikely to do.What senior counsel needs to know before walking into court.And what cannot be allowed to fall through the cracks.

The ability to think ahead, connect different proceedings and proactively identify legal and strategic issues i sessential.

This position will involve direct access to the client and sensitive litigation material and therefore requires the highest level of professional integrity and conf identiality.
