Job Summary

GD Goenka Public School, Hapur Road is looking for a confident, well-spoken, target-oriented, and professional Admission Counsellor to manage prospective parent enquiries and support the complete school admission process.

The candidate will act as one of the primary points of contact for prospective parents and will be responsible for explaining the school’s academic approach, facilities, activities, admission process, and overall value proposition in a clear and convincing manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle admission enquiries received through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, website leads, and other channels.
- Counsel prospective parents regarding the school, curriculum, facilities, activities, fee structure, transport, and admission process.
- Conduct school tours for prospective parents and present the school professionally.
- Understand the requirements and concerns of parents and provide appropriate information and guidance.
- Maintain complete records of all admission enquiries and regularly update lead status.
- Follow up systematically with prospective parents until admission closure or final decision.
- Convert qualified enquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Coordinate entrance assessments, parent interactions, documentation, and other admission formalities.
- Ensure timely collection and verification of admission-related documents.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Academic, Transport, Front Desk, and other departments for smooth onboarding of new students.
- Maintain accurate data on enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions.
- Prepare daily and periodic admission reports for the management.
- Follow up with inactive or undecided leads and maintain a structured admission pipeline.
- Support admission campaigns, open houses, school events,



and parent engagement activities whenever required.
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with prospective and existing parents.
- Ensure that all information communicated to parents is accurate and aligned with school policies.

Candidate Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Confident and professional personality.
- Good persuasion, negotiation, and follow-up ability.
- Comfortable speaking with parents from wide-ranging backgrounds.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and CRM/ERP systems.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Should be disciplined, punctual, presentable, and result-oriented.

Preferred Experience
- Prior experience as an Admission Counsellor, Education Counsellor, School Counsellor, Parent Relationship Executive, Academic Counsellor, or Sales Counsellor will be preferred.
- Experience in a reputed school or education organisation will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with a proven record of handling leads and converting enquiries into admissions will be preferred.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a counsellor who can combine warm parent interaction with strong follow-up and admission conversion skills.

The role is not limited to answering admission enquiries. The Admission Counsellor is expected to understand each prospective parent's requirements, communicate the school’s strengths effectively, maintain consistent follow-up, and ensure that every genuine admission opportunity is handled professionally from the first enquiry until final enrolment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
