Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / Accounts or Finance Background
About Our Client
Our client is a growing tech-enabled logistics organization operating in the supply chain and logistics sector. They focus on technology-driven and data-led logistics operations, with an emphasis on operational efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced accounting professional who can independently manage core accounting operations, reconciliations, taxation support, MIS reporting, and vendor/customer coordination for our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
- Prepare regular MIS reports and accounting summaries.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Prepare vendor payment sheets as per internal payment policies.
- Compile accounting data required for GST and TDS returns.
- Perform periodic ledger scrutiny and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with customers and vendors regarding accounting-related requirements.
- Support statutory audits and coordinate with auditors for required documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of accounting and compliance-related information.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date accounting records.
- Ensure overall accounting hygiene and compliance with applicable processes.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
Must-Have Skills / Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Hands-on experience in managing accounting operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Sound knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience in ledger scrutiny and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
- B.Com / M.Com preferred; equivalent background in Accounts or Finance may also be considered.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Prior experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Exposure to statutory audit coordination.
