Role Description The Accountant role at Shkallet Pharma is a full time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and ledger accounts, and assist in budgeting and cash flow management.

The role also includes ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulatory requirements, coordinating with auditors, and preparing necessary reports and documentation. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning, monitor expenditures, and maintain accurate financial records for management review.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.




- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and other regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience in accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications
