Accountant – Job Role & Responsibilities

Position: Accountant

Experience Required: 4–5 Years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, handling taxation matters, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Maintain and manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, invoices, and bank transactions.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Maintain ledger accounts and ensure accurate accounting records.
- Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
- Monitor expenses, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Ensure timely salary processing and payroll coordination if required.




- Assist management in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and government regulations.
- Support taxation and financial reporting activities as per applicable laws.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, ERP software, and accounting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
- Experience in handling GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
