Byvin Overseas is seeking an experienced Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, manage day-to-day accounting, and support financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Prepare and verify invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and expense entries.
- Track client payments, outstanding balances, and supplier payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and check cash and bank balances.
- Prepare periodic financial summaries and reports for management.
- Maintain supporting documents and organised accounting records.
- Coordinate with the company’s auditor or tax consultant on required records and filings.
- Handle financial information confidentially and report discrepancies promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; a qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting is required.
- Sound knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Robust numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage routine accounting work independently and meet deadlines.
Additional Information
- The three-month probation requirement applicable to the other advertised positions does not apply to this role.
