Position: Accountant

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial record-keeping activities of the company. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling GST and TDS-related work, preparing reports, and supporting the management in financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily books of accounts and accounting records.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and payment documents.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Prepare GST returns and coordinate with consultants when required.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain bank-related records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and regularly reconcile balances.
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/vendors.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Assist in budgeting, expense tracking, and cash-flow monitoring.
- Coordinate with auditors, CA, banks, and other financial professionals.




- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or trading companies will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Experience with e-invoicing and e-way bills.
- Ability to prepare MIS and management reports.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Excel formulas.
