Execute projects for improved reliability requirements for products, components, subsystem, and assemblies, evaluate product designs and ensure optimal performance while working on prospects to generate intellectual property for organization.
Key responsibilities
Follow DFR approach
Take up various reliability projects and develop novel approaches for the preventive diagnosis of products
Work with design teams to develop predictive and proactive design strategies that improve product / component reliability.
Discuss with engineers and provide them significant insights to define engineering specifications and propose design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements
Advise and confer with engineers in design review meetings to give reliability findings and recommendations
Reliability testing and providing scientific predictions for warranty claims
Carryout Reliability Test Planning, testing to discover potential safety and production risks.
Deploy Reliability Design Techniques to assess Reliability of Products Design at various life cycle stages
Analyze the product failure Data.
Perform data analysis to predict failures and prevent them before they cause downtime/assist in taking informed Warranty Decision
Lab and EHS
Responsible for upkeep of lab equipment and ensure EHS compliance
