We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive / Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable/payable, and accounting software such as Tally and ERP.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and management reports to summarize the company's financial position.
- Maintain books of accounts, including ledger, cash book, bank book, journals, purchase and sales records.
- Prepare and maintain fund flow and cash flow statements.
- Handle GST, Professional Tax and TDS returns and ensure timely compliance.
- Maintain receipts, payments and outstanding balances from/to dealers.
- Reconcile debtor and creditor accounts and generate detailed reports.
- Review and finalize accounts as per company requirements.
- Verify invoices, bills, bank deposits/payments, payroll, closing stock, accruals and amortization entries.
- Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1 - 4 years of experience as an Accountant / Accounts Executive.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger functions.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Accounting Software and ERP.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS and Skilled Tax.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in the Industrial Products / Heavy Machinery industry will be preferred.
- Should be capable of independently handling routine accounting activities.
- Should have a strong understanding of statutory compliance and financial documentation.
