Role Description The Academic Mentor (EDTECH) role is a full-time on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Academic

Mentor will guide learners through structured academic curricula, support them in understanding key concepts, and provide personalized feedback on assignments and projects. This role involves delivering sessions using digital learning platforms, monitoring learner progress, and maintaining accurate records of performance and attendance.

Mentor will collaborate with curriculum designers and other team members to refine learning materials and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learner needs.



Daily responsibilities also include addressing learner queries, communicating regularly with stakeholders, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

- Ability to mentor learners in academic subjects, provide clear explanations, and adapt instruction to different learning styles.
- Comfort using educational technology platforms, learning management systems, and digital tools to deliver and track learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, constructive feedback, and professional collaboration.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple learners, sessions, and academic tasks efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, a relevant subject area, or a related field; advanced qualifications in teaching or edtech are an advantage.
- Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or academic mentoring, preferably in a technology-enabled learning environment.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices and a learner-centric approach.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
