Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Academic Counsellor & Academic Mentor, offering a competitive in-hand salary of approximately 35–45k along with incentives. The role involves providing one-on-one and group counseling to students, guiding them on academic pathways, career options, and skill development.

The Academic

Counsellor & Mentor will assess students’ interests, strengths, and challenges, and recommend suitable courses, programs, and learning strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with faculty and parents when needed, organizing workshops or orientations,



and monitoring students’ progress. The role also requires clear communication, regular follow-ups, and a proactive approach to supporting learners in achieving their academic and career goals.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Student Counseling and Academic Advising, with the ability to guide learners through educational choices.
- Proficiency in Communication, including clear spoken and written communication and active listening.
- Experience or demonstrated capability in Career Counseling, helping students explore and plan career paths.
- Background or knowledge in Education, such as familiarity with academic programs, curricula, or learning methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in counseling are an advantage.
- Ability to build trust with students from diverse backgrounds and maintain professional confidentiality standards.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple students, sessions, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Comfort working in an on-site, student-facing workplace in Bengaluru and collaborating with internal teams.
