Role Description The Academic Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves providing guidance to students on academic programs, course selection, and educational pathways aligned with their goals.

The Academic

Advisor will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, assist with career planning, and help students understand institutional policies and requirements. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate advising records, collaborating with internal teams to support student success, organizing informational sessions or workshops, and responding to student inquiries in a timely and qualified manner. The role also requires proactive follow-up with students to monitor progress and offer ongoing support.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide effective Academic Advising and Education-related guidance to diverse student populations.




- Skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support learners in defining and achieving their academic and professional objectives.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction, active listening, and empathetic engagement.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in academic advising, student services, or educational counseling is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain professional boundaries.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and student information systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple student cases and deadlines.
