Executive Assistant to Promoter
About The Role
We are looking for a high-agency Executive Assistant to the Promoter who can operate as a trusted business partner and execution anchor across a growing organisation.
This is not a traditional administrative EA role. The ideal candidate will be a generalist with strong cross-functional exposure, who can understand different parts of a business, work closely with senior leadership, and drive initiatives from idea to execution.
You will work closely with the Promoter across strategic priorities, business reviews, special projects, and organisation-wide initiatives. The role will require someone who can move seamlessly between strategy, operations, people, finance, business development, and execution, while bringing structure and follow-through to a fast-scaling organisation.
What You Will Do
- Act as a trusted execution partner to the Promoter across strategic and operational priorities.
- Work across functions and business verticals to ensure key decisions and initiatives are translated into action.
- Drive follow-ups with senior stakeholders and functional leaders, ensuring priorities move forward and bottlenecks are resolved.
- Support the Promoter in preparing for business reviews, leadership meetings, and important strategic discussions.
- Track key organisational priorities, milestones, dependencies, and action items across functions.
- Take ownership of special projects and ambiguous business problems, bringing structure and driving them through to closure.
- Work with different functions such as business, operations, finance, HR, sales, projects, and strategy, depending on the organisation's priorities.
- Help identify gaps in processes, organisation structure, communication, and execution as the company scales.
- Partner with functional leaders to improve operating rhythms, reporting, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Conduct research, analyse information, and prepare concise insights and recommendations for the Promoter.
- Step into current areas of the business as required and quickly develop enough context to drive outcomes.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive business and leadership matters.
What We Are Looking For
- 3–8 years of experience in a high-ownership role involving strategy, operations, business management, Chief of Staff, Founder's Office, CEO Office, or similar responsibilities.
- A generalist mindset with exposure to multiple business functions rather than deep specialisation in one function.
- Demonstrated experience working across functions and driving initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in a scaling organisation where the candidate has seen processes, teams, and operating structures evolve with growth.
- Strong ability to work with ambiguity and independently structure problems.
- High ownership and bias for execution — someone who follows through without requiring constant supervision.
- Ability to influence and work effectively with senior stakeholders, even without formal authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills,
with the ability to distil complex information into clear, actionable points.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- High maturity, discretion, and comfort working with sensitive information.
- Willingness to get hands-on and work across areas outside one's formal .
The Ideal Candidate The Ideal Candidate Is Someone Who Can Say "Give me a business problem, give me the right stakeholders, and I'll figure out how to structure it, drive it, and get it done." You may have started in strategy, consulting, operations, a leadership programme, a Founder's Office, or another generalist role. What matters most is that you have seen different sides of a business, worked through periods of organisational growth, and developed the ability to connect strategy with execution. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in complex, execution-oriented businesses and have experience navigating multiple stakeholders, functions, and operating environments. What This Role Is Not
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role focused primarily on:
- Calendar management
- Travel arrangements
- Meeting scheduling
- Administrative coordination
- Personal assistance
While the role may involve some executive support, the core expectation is business ownership, cross-functional execution, and acting as a trusted partner to the Promoter.
Why This Role This is an opportunity to work directly with the Promoter and gain a 360-degree view of a growing organisation.
The role offers significant exposure to business strategy, operations, people, finance, growth, and organisational development, with the opportunity to take on increasingly larger responsibilities as the organisation scales.
