Hiring for US Mortgage/Underwriting/Live Underwriting.

- Work Mode: Work from Office for the first 6 months followed by Work at home.

Salary up to 10 lpa

Rotational Shift. 2 days rotational off.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and underwrite Conventional, Non-QM, and DSCR, bank statement, P&L; mortgage loans.
- Analyze borrower income, assets, credit, employment, and collateral to assess eligibility and risk.
- Evaluate alternative documentation loans, including bank statement, asset depletion, 1099 income, ITIN, and P&L-only; programs.
- Ensure compliance with agency, investor, company, and regulatory guidelines.
- Issue approvals,



conditions, suspensions, or denials based on underwriting standards.
- Review and clear underwriting conditions and resubmitted documentation.
- Collaborate with loan officers, processors, brokers, and internal teams to support timely loan decisions.
- Maintain accurate underwriting records and support quality control and audit processes.
- Stay up to date with mortgage products, investor requirements, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

- 25 years of US mortgage underwriting experience, including Conventional and/or Non-QM loan products.
- Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Non-QM, and DSCR underwriting guidelines.
- Experience with income analysis, risk assessment, and mortgage compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Automated Underwriting Systems (DU/LP), and document management systems.
- Strong analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple loan files and meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.
- Exposure to underwriting tools (LOS) such as encompass, calyxpath etc
