Faculty members work closely with learners to build strong portfolios and relevant skills for employment in creative industries.

Role Description The 3D & VFX Faculty role is a full-time, in office position based in the Pune Division at Frameboxx Animation Kothrud. The faculty member will plan and deliver classroom and lab sessions on 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and visual effects using industry-standard software. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating teaching materials, demonstrating techniques, guiding students through assignments and projects, and providing constructive feedback on their work.

The role also involves evaluating student performance, mentoring learners on portfolio development and industry readiness, coordinating with the academic team to update course content,



and participating in workshops or events to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in 3D software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or equivalent) and practical experience in modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation.
- Hands-on knowledge of VFX workflows, including compositing, particle effects, and use of tools such as After Effects, Nuke, or similar applications.
- Demonstrated teaching, training, or mentoring skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to learners at different skill levels.
- Practical experience in animation, broadcasting, game art, or related media and entertainment fields, with a strong portfolio or showreel.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Animation, VFX, Fine Arts, Design, Media, or a related discipline.
- Ability to collaborate with other faculty, adapt to curriculum updates, and stay current with industry trends and new tools.
- Prior experience in an institute or training environment is an advantage; familiarity with academic documentation and assessment processes is beneficial.
