Role Description This is a full-time, in office 3D Modeling Artist role based in Bengaluru. The 3D Modeling Artist will create high-quality 3D assets for flight simulators, including aircraft interiors and exteriors, cockpits, instruments, and environmental elements.

Daily work involves modeling, texturing, lighting, and rigging 3D assets, optimizing them for real-time performance, and ensuring visual consistency with the simulation environment. The role includes collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and product teams to translate technical requirements into visually accurate and immersive models.



The artist will also iterate on assets based on feedback, maintain organized asset libraries, and contribute to improving the overall visual quality of AerX Labs’ simulators.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in 3D Modeling using tools such as Blender, with experience creating detailed, optimized assets for real-time applications.
- Strong skills in Texturing and Lighting, including UV mapping, material creation, and realistic or stylized rendering for simulation environments.
- Experience with Rigging for interactive elements and animated components within cockpit and aircraft models.
- Understanding of flight simulation or gaming pipelines, including asset integration into real-time engines (experience with Unity/Unreal or similar is a plus).
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, reference images, and CAD data to achieve accurate visual representation.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team on-site.
- Relevant degree or certification in Animation, Game Design, VFX, or a related field; prior experience in simulation, gaming, or aerospace projects is advantageous.
