nJob Description
nThe SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

nResponsibilities

Create recent Microsoft SQL Server instances and configure them, including AlwaysOn availability groups and failover clusteringn
Facilitate brainstorming meetings with clients to review, analyse, and assess business systems and needsn
In charge of database backup and recovery methods, database access security and integrity, physical data storage design, and data storage administrationn




Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.n

nSkills and Qualifications
n
n
4+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience requiredn
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting toolsn
Experience with backups, restores and recovery modelsn
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Servern
Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directoryn
Extensive knowledge in database design, implementation, and conversionn
Knowledge with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRSn
Excellent written and verbal communicationn
