Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate grinding machines to produce parts within specified tolerances.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Select and install appropriate grinding wheels and tooling.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during operation.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and gauges.
Ensure product quality meets customer and company specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in positive working condition.
Report machine issues or quality concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain production records and complete required documentation.
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S practices.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma,
ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
1–3 years of experience operating grinding machines (Surface, Cylindrical, Centerless, or CNC Grinding).
Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Positive attention to detail and quality awareness.
Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of ISO quality standards and lean manufacturing practices.
Experience in automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering industries.
Familiarity with CNC grinding machine operation is an advantage.
Robust teamwork and communication skills.
