Roles and Responsibilities :
Role:
Process Owner – from RM IN to FG OUT till Customer Delivery (including BOP & Job Work)
Defines Line Layout, Process Layout (as per defined PFD)
Plans Material Flow – from RM IN to FG OUT till Customer Delivery (including BOP & Job Work)
Should be well versed with Lean Mfg. Approach
Develop manufacturing processes for Press Shop, Weld Shop, Assembly, and Dispatch.
Ensures Line Balancing (load levelling) in terms Cycle Time & Workforce (for recent as well as existing products)
Material movement planning, development & standardisation (bins, trolleys, chuters etc)
Conducts Gemba reviews to identify imbalance thus eliminates Mura, Muri, Muda




Scope identification & implementation of Low-Cost Automation along with pay-back calculation
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, Poka-Yoke, and 5S initiatives.
Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies during RFQ.
Production Flow, Process Safety & Visual Control
Prepare Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Plant Layout, Line Layout, Material Flow, and Value Stream Mapping. AutoCAD/Layout Planning
Optimize cycle time, takt time, line balancing, and manpower deployment.
SMED, Poka-Yoke, Work Cell Review
Well versed with MS-office & awareness of CAD software’s (UGNX. Catia)
