Role & responsibilities
To carry out technical review of customer specifications received along with enquiries or tenders for mechanical, electrical & instrumentation requirements.
To create detailed design drawings (i.e., GAD, CS, DIM, P&ID;) and ensure required documentation as per customer requirement.
To ensure the design of the products is in line with customer requirements and are effective for manufacturing.
To create casting and machining drawings of parts in 3D and 2D format.
Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
Preferred candidate profile
Hands-on proficiency with 2D & 3D design on SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other leading CAD software, and Microsoft Office.
Must have: knowledge of basic metallurgy and relevant standards, knowledge of ISO standards.
