You will be responsible for developing and optimizing welding procedures, conducting inspections, and providing technical support to ensure high-quality production outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop welding procedures and specifications according to project requirements.
- Conduct weld inspections and tests to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to optimize weld processes.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and provide technical support to production teams.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in welding operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in welding engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and technology.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team workplace.
