We are seeking a motivated and skilled Structure Design Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural components for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This role requires a robust foundation in structural engineering principles, proficiency in design software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural components and systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed design calculations and specifications in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and monitor construction progress.
- Utilize software tools for structural modeling and analysis, such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to support design processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 2-5 years of experience in structural design engineering, preferably in building and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of Indian building codes and standards, including IS codes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with construction materials and methods.
