Role Description

The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram. This role supports daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching inventory related to HubHawks book and marketing materials. The Assistant Warehouse Manager helps oversee stock levels, monitors inventory accuracy, and coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff as needed, implementing safety and cleanliness standards, and assisting in optimizing warehouse layouts and processes.



The role also involves maintaining documentation, reporting on inventory status, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Stock Control and Inventory Control to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Management to plan, track, and reconcile stock levels efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in Operations Management to support smooth warehouse workflows and adherence to processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation or similar material-handling equipment to safely move and organize stock (certification or training is an advantage).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in warehouse or logistics environments, preferably in publishing, retail, or similar sectors.
- Ability to lead and coordinate a small team, with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field is preferred.
