Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Kochi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and reconciling bank and account balances. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The role also involves supporting internal and external audits, preparing financial reports for management,



and collaborating with other departments to provide accurate financial data for business decisions. The Accountant is expected to maintain organized financial records and contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of relevant tax laws, compliance requirements, and basic audit procedures.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP tools; advanced MS Excel skills are preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site, manage deadlines, and collaborate in a fast-paced, travel-industry setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in the travel, hospitality, or service sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
