Seeking a Financial Modelling to support the financial and operational oversight of a portfolio of hospitality assets.

Job Title :-Financial Modeler cum Underwriting Analyst

Key Responsibilities:-

Financial Modeling

- Develop, maintain, and update dynamic financial models for business valuation, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Prepare three-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement).
- Conduct sensitivity, scenario, and stress testing analyses.
- Build valuation models using DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transactions.
- Support investment decisions through detailed financial analysis and forecasting.
- Analyze historical financial performance and identify key business drivers.

Underwriting & Credit Analysis

- Evaluate loan and investment applications by analyzing financial statements and supporting documentation.
- Assess borrower creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and financial health.
- Perform risk assessments using financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and industry benchmarks.
- Recommend approval, modification, or rejection of applications based on underwriting policies.
- Prepare comprehensive underwriting reports with financial recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning indicators.

Financial Analysis

- Analyze company financial statements and operational performance.
- Evaluate profitability, liquidity, leverage, and cash flow metrics.
- Conduct market and industry research to support underwriting and investment decisions.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting,



and financial planning activities.

Risk Management & Compliance

- Ensure underwriting decisions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify financial, operational, and market risks.
- Support internal audits and due diligence processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of financial models and underwriting decisions.

Collaboration :-

- Coordinate with finance, sales, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to management.
- Assist senior leadership in strategic financial planning and investment evaluation.

Desired candidate :-

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.

- MBA (Finance), CFA (preferred), FRM, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- 2-6 years of experience in financial modeling, investment analysis, credit underwriting, or corporate finance.

Required Skills:-

- Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, dashboards, advanced formulas, Power Query preferred).
- Strong financial statement analysis.
- Financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Credit underwriting and risk assessment.
- Business valuation methodologies (DCF, Comparable Companies, Multiples).
- Ratio analysis and cash flow analysis.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- SQL (preferred).
- Financial modeling best practices.
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook, or similar financial databases (preferred).
