Job Description: SOC Analyst (3-6 Years Experience) †Night Shift

We are seeking experienced SOC Analysts (3-6 years) to support Security Operations Center activities during the overnight coverage window (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM ET).

1. Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts and incidents using Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, TheHive, and other existing security tools.
2. Execute incident response, escalation, and remediation activities in accordance with established security playbooks and procedures.
3. Perform log analysis, threat detection, and correlation of security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
4. Document incidents, investigations, and response actions accurately within case management and ticketing systems.
5. Collaborate with the Senior SOC Analyst (Shift Lead) to ensure effective shift operations and timely incident resolution.
6. Escalate critical security events to designated stakeholders in accordance with defined escalation matrices.

Maintain continuous situational awareness of the security environment and proactively identify suspicious activities.
8. Participate in shift handovers and provide clear communication of ongoing investigations and operational status.
9. Work entirely within the organization's existing security stack and operational playbooks, following day-to-day direction from the customer security team.
10. Demonstrated experience in SOC operations, SIEM monitoring, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and incident analysis is required.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, TheHive, or comparable SIEM/EDR platforms.
- Strong understanding of security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a rotating or dedicated overnight shift workplace.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
