- Manage OPD, IPD, ICU, and emergency nephrology cases.
- Diagnose and treat CKD, AKI, glomerular diseases, nephrotic syndrome, hypertension, electrolyte and acid-base disorders.
- Manage and supervise hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and other renal replacement therapies.
- Provide nephrology consultation for critically ill patients and manage renal complications in the ICU.
- Evaluate patients for kidney transplantation and provide pre- and post-transplant care, where applicable.
- Perform nephrology procedures such as renal biopsy and dialysis catheter insertion, depending on expertise and hospital credentialing.
- Monitor dialysis patients and manage dialysis-related complications.
- Counsel patients and families regarding kidney disease, dialysis, diet, lifestyle modification, and treatment options.
- Coordinate with Urologists, Intensivists, Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, and Transplant teams for multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow NABH, NMC, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols.
