We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in designing and developing packaging equipment/machinery, preferably within the chemical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of packaging machinery and equipment.
- Prepare 3D models, assemblies, detailed drawings, and BOMs.
- Perform design calculations, material selection, and component selection.
- Work on machine improvement, modification, and current product development.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and vendors for design execution.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and industry standards.
- Support installation,
commissioning, troubleshooting, and design validation.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical design and machine design experience.
- Experience with packaging equipment/machinery.
- Chemical industry / process equipment experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks / Creo / AutoCAD / CATIA / Inventor or similar CAD tools.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, BOM, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in equipment development and project execution.
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech – Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
