We are looking for an experienced Android Framework / Connectivity Engineer with strong programming skills in C, C++, and Java, along with hands-on experience in Android Framework development, Linux Kernel interfacing, IPC, and socket programming.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and testing connectivity-related components, debugging complex issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive issues to closure.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain software components using C, C++, and Java.
· Work extensively with the Android Framework and Android architecture.
· Develop and enhance wearable connectivity engine components.
· Interface with the Linux kernel from user space using mechanisms such as Netlink and IOCTL.
· Work with Inter-Process Communication (IPC) mechanisms and socket programming.
· Perform unit testing, functional testing, and debugging of software components.
· Analyze and debug complex issues independently using appropriate debugging and logging techniques.
· Investigate issues across the Android Framework, user space, and kernel interface.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive issues to closure.
· Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and software quality improvements.
· Work on Android-based products and contribute to product-level feature development and maintenance.
Required Skills
· Strong programming experience in C, C++, and Java.
· Hands-on experience with Android Framework development.
· Good understanding of Android Architecture and Android system components.
· Experience with Linux Kernel interfacing from user space.
· Strong experience with Netlink and IOCTL.
· Mandatory hands-on experience in Inter-Process Communication (IPC).
· Strong knowledge of Socket Programming.
· Experience in unit testing and software testing.
· Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to independently analyze issues, identify root causes, and drive them to closure.
· Good understanding of Linux/Android internals.
