Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor will work full time on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, supporting prospective MBA applicants throughout their admissions journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing candidate profiles, recommending suitable programs, and guiding applicants on application strategy, essays, and documentation. The role involves responding to inquiries, managing leads, and following up with prospective students via calls, emails, and in-person meetings. The Senior Admissions Counselor will also participate in information sessions, workshops, and outreach activities to build awareness of Way2MBA’s services, while collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and student experience.



This position requires consistent, professional engagement with diverse applicants and a strong commitment to helping them make informed education decisions.

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to effectively engage with prospective students and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support throughout the admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including lead follow-up and consultative selling, to convert inquiries into enrollments in a transparent and ethical manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related skills and understanding of MBA programs, admissions processes, and academic pathways to guide students accurately.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Counseling, or a related field; prior experience in admissions, counseling, or education services is highly beneficial.
- Additional beneficial skills include proficiency with CRM or lead management tools, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
