Role - Area Collection Manager - Home Loan/LAP

About the Role:

We are looking for a result-oriented and field-driven Area Collections Manager to lead collections and recovery operations. The role requires strong expertise in secured lending collections, particularly in Home Loans, Mortgage Loans (LAP), and legal recovery processes. The incumbent will be responsible for portfolio health, delinquency management, team handling, legal coordination, and ensuring recovery targets are achieved within defined compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage collections and recovery operations for the assigned Areas.
- Drive collection efficiency across buckets with strong focus on overdue and NPA accounts.
- Monitor delinquency trends and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure monthly recovery targets are achieved as per business expectations.
- Maintain portfolio quality and minimize roll-forward percentages.
- Lead and supervise Collections team, and agency partners.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and field visits.




- Handle legal recovery cases including SARFAESI proceedings, repossession, and settlement processes.
- Coordinate with empaneled advocates and legal agencies for recovery actions.
- Engage with delinquent customers for resolution and recovery.
- Ensure adherence to RBI, NHB, and internal compliance guidelines.
- Prepare MIS reports on collections performance, recovery status, and legal cases.

Candidate Profile:

Educational Qualification:

- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA preferred.

Experience:

- 5–10 years of experience in Collections & Recovery.
- Mandatory experience in Home Loans, Loan Against Property (Mortgage Loans), Collections Operations, and Legal Recovery & SARFAESI Process.
- Experience in NBFC/HFC industry preferred.

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of collections strategies and recovery mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience in legal collections and SARFAESI processes.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good negotiation and communication abilities.
- Robust analytical and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Area.
