Title: Lead - Data Governance

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Location: Remote (India)

Job Description:

Mandatory Skills

- Robust understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Data Stewardship, and Data Ownership frameworks.
- Experience working in Corporate Banking, Credit Risk, Lending, ELCM, Credit Proposal, or related banking domains.
- Strong experience defining Data Quality Rules, KPIs, Thresholds, and Data Quality Monitoring processes.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, and data quality assessments.
- Hands-on experience in Data Profiling, Data Discovery, Root Cause Analysis, and Data Issue Management.
- Experience establishing Data Dictionaries, Business Glossaries, Metadata, and Data Lineage documentation.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, audit, compliance, and data management requirements within banking.




- Experience managing Data Quality Remediation initiatives involving multiple business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience defining and implementing Data Governance operating models, RACI structures, and controls.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

Overall years of experience 8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management, or Banking Data Programs.

Relevant years of experience 5+ years of direct experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Credit Risk Data, Corporate Banking Data, or Regulatory Data Management.

Industry & Education background

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience within Banking, Corporate Banking, Risk Management, or Financial Services is mandatory.
