JOB DESCRIPTION:1. Hands-on experience with SQL Server installations and patching2. Robust knowledge of SQL Server database tuning3. knowledge of SQL Server database backup and recovery strategies.4. SQL Server replication,



mirroring, log shipping, maintenance plans and DR recovery strategies5. Knowledge of SQL Server tools6. Installation, Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server Instances.7. Create Users and assign permissions based on the level of database access the user would need8. Design database Backup and Restoration Strategy9. Setup High-Availability as part Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases10. Monitoring and Performance Tuning; Physical Server Level, Database level (Database settings and options) and query tuning.11. Documenting major changes to the SQL Servers.12. Apply Service Packs.

Educational Qualification:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
