About Super Glitz

Founded in 2005, Super Glitz is a founder-led garment manufacturing house based in IMT Manesar, Haryana, in India's leading export-oriented industrial corridor. We operate 50,000 sq ft across two climate-controlled facilities, with a capacity of approximately 150,000 pieces per month, covering knits and wovens in ladieswear, kidswear, and babywear, from basics to high fashion. We manufacture for leading international retailers across six-plus markets, including Myer (Australia), Monoprix (France), Prénatal, Chicco, Original Marines and OVS Kids (Italy), El Corte Inglés (Spain), Basic Apparel (Denmark), and JAJU (Korea). All production is executed in-house with no subcontracting at any stage.

Our facilities are certified under GOTS, OCS, OEKO-TEX 100, BCI, and SEDEX, with Lenzing and European Flax supply partnerships. Our ladies floor specializes in cotton schiffli — the Swiss-origin broderie-anglaise technique currently driving European and Australian summer collections.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fashion Designer to own seasonal design development across our ladieswear and kidswear lines. This is a hands-on role in an export house: you will work directly with the partners, the sample room, the merchandising team, and international buyers, taking a concept from trend board to approved bulk sample.

The right candidate is equally comfortable interpreting a buyer's brief and building an original collection for a buyer presentation — and understands that a design is only successful once it can be produced consistently on the floor at a commercially viable cost.

Key Responsibilities

Collection & Range Development

Develop seasonal ranges for ladieswear and kidswear in line with buyer briefs, target price points, and delivery calendars.Research and interpret trends for European, UK, Australian, and Korean markets — silhouettes, colour palettes, prints, and fabric direction.Build mood boards, colour cards, and range plans for buyer presentations and market meetings.

Design & Technical Documentation

Create technical sketches, specification sheets, and complete tech packs, including measurement charts, construction details, trims, and finishing instructions.Develop artwork for prints, embroideries, and schiffli placements; coordinate strike-offs and lab dips through to approval.Work with the pattern master and sample room to review fit, proportion, and construction across proto, fit, and salesman samples.

Fabric, Trim & Vendor Development

Source and develop fabrics and trims with mills and vendors — cotton cambric, voile, crepe, schiffli, lyocell, modal, muslin, jersey, corduroy, double-cloth, and denim.Work within GOTS, OCS, OEKO-TEX, BCI, and Lenzing sourcing requirements, ensuring documentation and traceability for compliance teams.

Buyer & Production Interface

Support merchandising and the partners during buyer visits, presentations, and design reviews.Respond to buyer comments and revisions with speed and accuracy through the sampling cycle.Follow designs through to bulk production, resolve design-related queries on the floor, and maintain consistency between the approved sample and shipped goods.

Requirements

Essential

5–10 years of design experience in a garment export house or apparel manufacturing environment.Demonstrated experience across

both ladieswear and kidswear

— this is a mandatory requirement.Degree or diploma in Fashion Design from NIFT, NID, Pearl Academy, or an equivalent institution.Strong command of woven and knit product development, with practical knowledge of cotton fabrics, embroidery, and print techniques.Proven ability to write clear, production-ready tech packs and specification sheets.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; CAD experience for prints and repeats.Working knowledge of international sizing and fit standards (EU, UK, AU) and of buyer approval processes in export.Solid English communication skills for direct correspondence with overseas buyers.Based in or willing to relocate to the Gurgaon / Manesar region.

Preferred

Experience developing for department stores or specialist kids and baby retailers in Europe, the UK, or Australia.Hands-on exposure to schiffli/broderie anglaise development.Familiarity with babywear and GOTS-certified organic cotton programmes.Understanding of garment, piece, and RFD dyeing processes.
