Ltd.Location : Phase 8B, Sector 74, MohaliEmployment : Full-time | Work from OfficeExperience : 2+ YearsJoining : Immediate preferredAbout the Role -Omjee’s Cine World is expanding its music business and is looking for an experienced A&R; & Creative Head - Music to help build a strong and consistent pipeline of original music, artists and collaborations.The role will focus primarily on Punjabi music and requires someone who is already well connected with singers, lyricists, composers, music producers and emerging talent.We are looking for someone with a strong ear for music who can do more than simply source songs — someone capable of identifying potential, developing music creatively and putting together the right artists and collaborators.Key Responsibilities -Discover and source commercially and creatively strong songs, demos, artists and music opportunities.Build and maintain relationships with singers, lyricists, composers,



music producers and other music-industry talent.Continuously identify promising new and emerging artists.Develop a consistent pipeline of potential releases for the label.Identify current and upcoming trends while maintaining a distinct identity for the label.Participate in commercial discussions and negotiations for song acquisitions and artist collaborations.Coordinate closely with the Music Operations Head for contracts, NOCs, release planning, distribution and execution.Maintain an organised pipeline of artists, demos, songs under consideration and upcoming releases.Primarily develop opportunities within Punjabi and Haryanvi music, while remaining open to commercially relevant opportunities in adjacent markets.Requirements -Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in the music industry.Existing and active network within the Punjabi/Haryanvi music ecosystem.Strong relationships with artists, singers, composers, lyricists and/or music producers.Demonstrable experience in A&R;, music acquisition, artist management, label operations or music production/creative development.Robust understanding of current Punjabi and Haryanvi music trends and audiences.Excellent musical judgement and ability to assess demos and emerging talent.Strong communication, relationship-management and negotiation skills.Commercial understanding of music acquisitions and artist collaborations.
