Assistant Manager Merchandising

- Executes the annual sales plan w.r.t. the respective brand handled, and expectations set for delivered & intake margins. Plans weekly and monthly budgets and forecasts with their achievement.

- Prepares OTB, plans phasing orders as per it and prepares sales / stock plans in conjunction with buyers.

- Reviews orders placed / cancellation / changes that affect OTB – Performance Monitor Review.

- Ensures product sales mix and space mix for the store layouts and produces layout plans for stores.

- Manages EOSS – End of Season Sale and seasonal wall launches.

- Liaisons with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors for ensuring work completion.

- Resolves any issues that arise with the vendors and ensures on-time delivery.

- Identifies production and supply difficulties and deals with any problems or delays as they arise.

- Initiates various reports (Daily, weekly and monthly reports) to understand categories performance and take appropriate actions.

- Undertakes competition studies / market trend analysis to understand current business vis-à-vis the current competitiveness of the products.
