We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Senior Data Scientist / Data Scientist to leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to solve complex manufacturing and business challenges. The role involves identifying opportunities to create value from data, developing scalable analytical models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Data Analytics & Business Insights Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions in manufacturing. Mine, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, including CRM systems, digital analytics platforms, manufacturing systems, and external data sources. Conduct advanced statistical analysis to generate actionable insights, identify trends, and measure business and operational performance. Translate business problems into analytical use cases and recommend data-driven solutions. Model Development & Machine Learning Design, develop, test, and implement statistical and machine learning models that support business and manufacturing objectives. Validate models using appropriate statistical techniques and ensure robustness before deployment. Continuously improve model performance through monitoring, retraining, and optimization. Experimentation & Performance Optimization Apply A/B testing frameworks to evaluate model quality and validate business hypotheses. Measure model effectiveness using relevant statistical and business performance metrics. Partner with manufacturing, operations, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable data science solutions. Data Quality & Governance Design processes and tools to monitor model performance and data accuracy. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across analytical workflows.
Operations Team IT & Digital Team Unit Management Data Engineering Team Data Solution Vendors (as applicable) MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Applications, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline. 4–6 years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistical Modeling, or related analytical roles. Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques. Hands-on experience with Python/R and common data science libraries. Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets from multiple business systems. Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools, and dashboarding platforms (Power BI/Tableau or equivalent). Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and experimental design. Experience in manufacturing analytics or industrial data environments will be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Key Performance Indicators: Successful delivery of data science and analytics projects.
