Robotics Engineer SKEYEBOTS | Bangalore, India | Full-Time SKEYEBOTS builds AI-driven autonomous systems for unmanned platforms operating across aerial, ground, and maritime environments — systems where reliability is mission-critical, and failure is not an option. We are a well-funded, rapidly scaling deep-tech organisation building some of the most demanding autonomous technology being developed in India today. You will work across software development, hardware integration, field operations, and system testing — getting hands-on exposure to computer vision, perception, motion planning, embedded systems, and autonomous platform deployment in a single role. Software feature development across computer vision, perception pipelines, and motion planning modules Obstacle detection and avoidance feeding into the planning layer Sensor and camera calibration to keep perception accurate in the field Data collection, annotation, and model training pipelines for real-world autonomous systems Integration testing and end-to-end system validation on physical autonomous platforms Drone field operations — including pre-flight checks, mission execution, and post-flight analysis (DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate sponsored if not already held) Ground control station operation and mission planning using QGroundControl or equivalent GUI development and tooling using Qt/QML (training provided if needed)



Hardware-software integration support alongside the hardware engineering team Simulation-based testing in Gazebo or equivalent SITL environments B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline where both software and hardware are covered ~0–2 years of professional or project-level experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or embedded software ~ Working knowledge of Python; basic familiarity with C++ is a plus ~ Understanding of fundamental robotics and computer vision concepts ~ Basic ROS or ROS2 exposure — coursework, personal projects, or internships count ~ Linux and Git proficiency ~ Hands-on project work demonstrating real hardware or software build experience — not just theory Exposure to computer vision libraries: Qt/QML experience for GUI or HMI development DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (we will sponsor this if not held) Experience with simulation environments: Hands-on experience with embedded platforms: Direct exposure to a full autonomous systems stack — hardware, firmware, CV, planning, and integration — in a single role Mentorship from experienced engineers and industry experts across India and internationally Field experience operating and testing real autonomous platforms Bangalore, Karnataka — full time, onsite. Travel to Kochi and field test sites as required.
