A midwifery-led maternity nursing home in Chennai is looking for passionate and dedicated Midwives / Nurses to join our maternity care team.

We are seeking candidates with qualifications in ANM, GNM, or B.Sc. Nursing. Candidates with experience in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department, Labour Room, or Maternity Ward will be preferred. Freshers with a genuine interest in maternity and midwifery care are also welcome to apply.

Selected candidates may be required to undergo an initial period of training at Birthvillage, Kochi. Upon successful completion of training and assessment of the required competencies, eligible candidates will be posted to our Chennai facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate and respectful care to women during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.
- Assist in the assessment, monitoring, and care of mothers and newborns.
- Support women during labour and normal childbirth under established clinical protocols and within the scope of professional practice.
- Assist with immediate newborn care and support mothers with breastfeeding and postnatal care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Identify changes in the condition of mothers or newborns and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Assist the clinical team during obstetric procedures and emergencies as required.




- Educate and support mothers and families regarding pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postnatal recovery.
- Follow established protocols for patient safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and respectful maternity care.
- Work collaboratively with obstetricians, paediatricians, midwives, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing training, skill development, and competency assessments.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
