Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Engineer with experience in B2B manufacturing sales, business development, customer acquisition and client relationship management.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer requirements, preparing RFQs and proposals, negotiating with customers, converting opportunities into orders and supporting the complete sales process.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities in the manufacturing industry.
- Generate leads through market research, prospecting and customer acquisition.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to provide suitable solutions.
- Handle RFQs, quotations and proposals.
- Conduct commercial negotiations and deal closure with customers.
- Manage the sales process from enquiry/RFQ → quotation → negotiation → order → delivery.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Develop regional sales strategies to increase business opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts,



performance reports and market analysis.
- Coordinate with technical, marketing and project teams for smooth order execution.
- Support customers during and after project/order completion.
- Work towards achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to increase market share and repeat business.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- MBA in Marketing / Sales / Finance is an added advantage.
- 3+ years of B2B manufacturing sales experience preferred.
