### About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, experienced and detail-oriented *Accountant* to handle the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our pharmaceutical stockist/distribution business.

The ideal candidate should have *hands-on experience with MARG ERP*, preferably in a pharmaceutical/medical distribution or stockist environment.

###Key Responsibilities

* Maintain day-to-day accounts and accounting entries in *MARG ERP*

* Handle sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries

* Maintain customer and supplier ledgers

* Manage accounts receivable and payable

* Monitor customer outstanding and supplier balances

* Bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation

* Handle purchase and sales invoices, debit/credit notes and other accounting documents

* Maintain stock and inventory-related accounting records in MARG

* Handle GST-related accounting and reconciliation

* Assist in TDS-related accounting and compliance

* Prepare regular outstanding, sales, purchase and other MIS reports

* Verify accounting entries and ensure accuracy of books

* Coordinate with management, suppliers, customers and the external CA/accounting team

* Maintain proper documentation and records

* Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounts

###Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com preferred*




- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience*
- Hands-on experience with MARG ERP is highly preferred*
- Experience in *pharmaceutical distribution / stockist business will be an advantage*
- Good knowledge of GST and TDS
- Good command of MS Excel
- Knowledge of bank and party reconciliation
- Positive understanding of purchase, sales, inventory and billing
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Honest, responsible and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for day-to-day accounts

### Preferred Candidate

Candidates who have previously worked with a *pharmaceutical distributor, stockist, C&F;, medical wholesaler or similar trading/distribution company* and have practical knowledge of MARG will be given preference.

### Salary

*₹20,000–₹28,000 per month*, depending on experience, MARG knowledge and overall suitability.

Salary is negotiable for an exceptionally suitable candidate.
