We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to support software development, testing, and delivery activities for Engine Control System functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support software development of engine control system functions.
- Develop, test, and deliver automotive embedded software.
- Perform testing in Open Loop and Closed Loop environments using HIL/SIL.
- Simulate vehicle behavior and perform testing using simulation tools.
- Develop embedded software using C programming.
- Support activities across all stages of the V-Model/V-Cycle.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve software issues.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on Embedded C programming skills.
- Good knowledge of real-time embedded systems.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and Complex Device Drivers (CDD).
- Experience in automotive software analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS / RQ1.
- Hands-on experience with LabCar, INCA, debuggers, and simulation tools.
- Knowledge of software configuration and change management tools such as eASEE/SCM.
- Good understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN.
- Knowledge of ADC, PWM, EEPROM, Flash, NVM, and GTM.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with HIL/SIL testing.
- Automotive powertrain / engine control system experience.
- Experience working with simulation and vehicle modeling environments.
Education
- B.E./B.Tech in ECE / EEE / Electrical / Electronics / related engineering disciplines.
