Position: Store Executive – Tools & Fasteners

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issue, tracking, and inventory control of tools, fasteners, consumables, and other engineering materials used in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and verify tools, fasteners, consumables, and engineering materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Check quantity, part number, size, grade, specification, and condition of incoming materials.
- Maintain proper binning, labeling, identification, and systematic storage of all materials.
- Issue tools, fasteners, and consumables to Production, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments against authorized requests.
- Maintain tool issue/return records and monitor tool availability.
- Track reusable tools and ensure timely return, inspection, and replacement when required.
- Maintain stock levels and raise purchase/replenishment requirements for fast-moving and critical items.
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical stock verification and reconcile differences with ERP records.
- Maintain GRN, stock registers, material issue slips, return records, and other store documentation.
- Enter inward, outward, transfer,



and adjustment transactions accurately in the ERP system.
- Maintain separate identification of fasteners based on size, grade, coating, batch/lot number, and specification to prevent material mix-ups.
- Monitor obsolete, damaged, excess, and slow-moving inventory and report the same to the Store/Materials Manager.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Accounts departments regarding material requirements and discrepancies.
- Ensure proper FIFO practices wherever applicable.
- Maintain 5S, housekeeping, safety, and proper storage conditions in the tool/store area.
- Support periodic and annual inventory audits.

Key Skills

- Knowledge of industrial tools, cutting tools, measuring instruments, fasteners, and engineering consumables.
- Basic knowledge of fastener sizes, grades, specifications, and identification.
- Inventory and warehouse management.
- ERP/SAP knowledge preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Stock reconciliation and documentation.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of 5S and safety practices.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / Any Graduate with 2–5 years of relevant experience in Stores, Tool Stores, Warehouse, or Materials Management, preferably in a fasteners, automotive, or engineering manufacturing company.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
