Job Summary

The Primary English Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to primary school students. The teacher will develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills while creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, phonics, speaking, and listening skills.
- Prepare engaging activities, worksheets, projects, and learning resources.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students who require additional academic assistance.
- Maintain effective classroom management and encourage positive behaviour.
- Promote confidence, creativity, communication, and a love of reading.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and student progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, training, and extracurricular activities.




- Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ overall academic and personal development.
- Ensure a secure, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification/certification preferred.
- Previous experience teaching English at the primary level is an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to use creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Basic proficiency with digital teaching tools and educational technology.
- Patience, enthusiasm, adaptability, and a student-centred approach.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
