Location: Cuttack, Odisha

Job Purpose:

To carry out mechanical maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation of the distillation and associated process areas.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.

· Handle maintenance of centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, agitators, blowers, gearboxes, valves and other rotating equipment.

· Carry out dismantling, inspection, alignment, assembly and installation of equipment.

· Attend maintenance of process piping, flanges, valves, steam lines and utility equipment.

· Execute mechanical maintenance activities during plant shutdown/annual maintenance.

· Identify equipment abnormalities such as vibration, leakage, overheating and unusual noise and take corrective action.

· Carry out bearing, mechanical seal, coupling and gasket replacement.

· Perform basic fitting, grinding, drilling, cutting and fabrication-related maintenance activities.

· Ensure proper use of tools,



tackles, PPE and safety procedures during maintenance activities.

· Maintain housekeeping and 5S in the maintenance/work area.

· Coordinate with Shift In-charge, Production and other maintenance personnel for timely completion of jobs.

· Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues to the superior.

Preferred Experience:

· 7–8 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.

· Experience in Distillery / Ethanol / Chemical / Process Industry is preferred.

· Candidates having hands-on experience in distillation plant mechanical maintenance will be given preference.

· Should be comfortable working in shift operations and during plant shutdowns.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
