- Perform CT and MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast media as necessary and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain CT and MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
- Follow proper radiation safety and MRI safety protocols.
- Evaluate images for quality and report findings to radiologists or supervising physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation in the imaging system and/or EMR.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to alleviate anxiety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnostics.
- Maintain inventory and cleanliness of imaging rooms and workspaces.
- Adhere to all hospital and department policies, including infection control and patient confidentiality standards.
- Minimum 2 years
